At our school we take sports activities very seriously.There are many sports clubs and club activities that are held such as,tennis,rugby,baseball,track and field,gymnastics,and many others.Our track andfield members would participate in marathons with their tracksuits and ourgymnasts would perform competitions in their garments.All these athletes aredramatically improving throughout their school years training underprofessional trainers.In the future they may even be able to attend theathletic competitions in the Olympics.
Last year our school baseball club made it to the semi tournaments at the Bei Jing Stadium but we were an inch short in our strength.However due to the loss we made a new training schedule and named it module 5.This training schedule was 5 times as much as the year before We trained even harder and were able to rise to one’s feet overcoming our loss.Our strengths were on the increase as this year’s tournament came around.
In the end,due to all the hard work,this year our school baseballclub regulars were able to able to go to the championships held at Bei JingStadium.The competitors fought throughout the many games were very toughhowever we were able to take advantage of all hard training and claim our victory.During the final game,the baseball team could hear our school cheerleaders inthe background cheer our slogan and declare our victory as the last pitch wasmade and the umpire shouted out “strikeout was”.At that moment our victory wasguaranteed.The end score was 6 to 7 in our favor.Because of this majorvictory the ministry of finance of our school decided to increase the fund forthe baseball club.These funds were used to purchase quality equipments as wellas designer sportswear.We searched on the net for a specialist to make our newuniforms; it was made with a specific symbol of our school logo sewn on theleft side of the shirts.
Although there were a lot of good news and events thathappened throughout this year there was also sad news.One of which was thatthe baseball club coach was going to retire.He had proposed to his girlfriend at school onhis knees with a ring and was going to hold the ultimate marriage.We had allprotested to his retirement but it had been set.In the end we couldn’t doanything about it but smile and congratulate him on his marriage.
