第一个空如果填which的话,就成了“那个屋子有些书了”,而正确的应该是“那间屋子里有些书”,所以要用where,where相当于“一个介词+which”,这个介词不一定是in,也可是别的介词,只不过这里恰好是in而已.
还有注意what不能引导定语从句.

He went into his mother's room,_____has some good books ____ he wanted to read.
