It is not my shirt 和 This is not my shirt ,有什么区别

It 是形式主语,这句的主语还是 my shirt,而且it是这,不特指距离远近
this是这里,this is表示说话人说的东西就在近处,和that对应,that是那个,距离比this远我做一道题，写出“这不是我的衬衫”的英语，于是我写了It is not my shirt,但是错了，正确答案是This is not my shirt,可我觉得这两句话表达的都是一个意思啊，难道不对吗？是否前文有限定，需要用this is, 从中文上看意思似乎是一样的不过在英语语境中，意思就不相同了， 就像我之前解释的一样如果前面问的是：Is this your shirt 那么回答：No, it's not mine. 即it是指代 shirt的this is 是限定修饰的
