英语中形容词最高级在什么时候可以把the省略?

最高级+the是因为,特指,比如班上最高的孩子,只有一个,特指 the tallest child
形容词最高级省略the很少见,副词最高级省略the 很常见
比如He runs fastest.或者He runs the fastest.
