In the summer,most US schools ask students to read.But L.B.Clarke started a journaling program this year.Students wrote their journals three times each week.The journals were about books they read or their daily lives.“Good writers must be good readers,” said principal Lisa Quistorf.“Our program also asks them to read,but in a different way.”
