英语语法中是否有put sth. on where+定语从句?还是put sth. where?

应该是put sth in the place where 或put sth where
eg .Put the book in the place where you found it .这里是where 引导的定语从句,修饰the place .
Put the book where they were .这里where 引导的地点状语从句.
又如：
Make a mark in the place where you have a question .定语从句
Make a mark where you have a question .地点状语从句.
