英语中there能做主语吗?能分析一下there is nobody there的句子结构吗?

there一般不作主语.there,here开头的句子一般是倒装句.例子：There is a tree near my house.有一棵树在我房子旁边.其中a tree是主语,there是表语.这是一个倒装句.对于句子there is nobody there.nobody是主语,is系...我在书上看到there is nobody there中的nobody是做表语的！那么它是特殊情况还是书上解释有误？应该是书上解释错误。there如果是主语，那么第二个there就是重复了，况且谓语单复数也没办法判断了。因此nobody作主语。
