后半句表示结果,one with the left arm broken while the other with one leg hurt.这个是不是独立主格结构独立主格结构主要表示谓语动词发生的时间、原因、条件或伴随情况等，相当于一个状语从句或并列句。但是在本句中后半句表示的是结果，所以应该不是独立主格结构。不知道回答的对不对，因为高中的英语知识忘得差不多了。
