not…until…直到…才… 的用法

如果加名词就是：He didn't come until the late evening他直到深夜才来.
加从句：he didn't come until he saw the stars.他直到看到星星才来.
直接加就行了- -没什么顾虑吧.我是想问late是形容词或副词啊，也不是名词啊，而且He didn't come until the late evening这句话也不是从句吧，感觉不符合语法书上说的，我这方面有点不懂这句话是跟名词，late是修饰evening（不是从句啊）。late 的用法么。形容词：晚的。如：the late evening深夜副词：迟的。如：he came late。他迟到了名词是lateness呢。从句是这个he didn't come until he saw the stars.看后面主谓宾都齐了吧。
