Shame ashame shameful的不同

1.词性不同,shame是名词,ashamed/shameful是形容词
如：It's a shame to do that.也可以说 It's shameful to do that.（那么做很可耻）
再如 What a shame!（真可惜,真不要脸）
Shame on you!（你真不要脸）等,这里的shame不能用shameful/ashamed代替.
2.意思有所不同,ashamed指主语本身感到惭愧/羞耻,是主观感觉,shameful是指他人或某事可耻,
如：I feel ashamed for him.（我为他感到羞耻）
或 He is ashamed to have done that.（他为做了那件事而惭愧)
What he has done is shameful.（他的所作所为很可耻）
Stealing is a shameful thing to do.（偷东西是可耻的行为）
