I don't know what is the matter.为什么the matter在is的后面?为什么what是作主语?

what is the matter放到从句里,保持原来的语序不倒装,这个不是主语不主语的问题.同样的用法还有what is wrong.就是主语主语的问题，我们老师说的，我只是没太明白可以这样说，一般疑问句变成从句的话，主语和表语的 位置互换，如：What's his name?改成 I don't know what his name is.主语变成了his name.但是what's the matter和what's wrong是例外，语序不变。
