求on foot与walk的转换!

on foot 和walk均指“步行”的意思.
on foot 方式状语,一般放在句末.
例1：The cimema is not far,you can get there on foot.
电影院不远,你可以走到那去.
walk 也指“行走,步行”的意思.其后一般不加介词.
例2：I missed the bus and had to walk home.
我没赶上公共汽车,只好走回家.
How did you get here?' `I walked.' ‘你是怎麽来的?’‘我走来的.’
如何转换?
清楚两者的用法,转换也就容易了.
比如把例1 用walk 来表示,即：
The cimema is not far,you can walk there.
而例2的句子可转换成用on foot 的句子：
